Light reflected and absorbed on industrial plastic sheeting covering a construction site in Florence. I was sitting in a cafe overlooking this site and as the wind blew the sheeting, the reflections changed and altered the surface undulation. By combining several shots of the area, the composition takes on a very disconnected feel and starts to eveolve as an entity in itself, far removed from the original observations. I love this kind of metamorphosis from simple observation to a final piece. Inspiration can be found in the most unlikely of places.
