Walking the ancient and beautiful streets of Sienna, its easy to only see the iconic monuments and well known buildings. But, look a little closer at some of the detail that informs the historic nature of this famous location. You will start to notice glorious patterns and marks that are essential to the overall structure and character of the buildings, formed over many centuries. Take these elements and mix them with local colour and texture, and a whole new story starts to take shape. 'Burnt Sienna' is a large scale artwork rich in colour and abstracted content.
