Inspiration comes in many forms, not least for this artwork. I was travelling in Italy and got very excited by marks and scrapes on the walls of the old town of Sienna. Nothing is perfect in an historic town and there in lay my fascination. Glorious unpredictabilty ... like a Rip Tide.
