The inspiration for this artwork came from markings on a wall in Chiang Mail in northern Thailand. The left hand and right hand portions of this work are the same but flipped and layered with marks that I captured close by. The resulting image looked to me like a broken heart and so the title of this piece was born. A little visual story that was nurtured from very little but eneded up as one of my most favourite pieces from last year.
